An Important Announcement for Abundant Life Readers

Westside has published a bulletin for more than forty years. Seventeen years ago Rusty Miller and I gave that bulletin a dramatic facelift, christened it Abundant Life, and started trying to build a larger mailing list to see if brethren beyond just Westside would read from our pens each month. The response was immediate and amazing. Abundant Life has enjoyed widespread circulation across the nation and even the globe. We are thankful to all who let Abundant Life become part of their life, and who were so quick to compliment and encourage our efforts. It has truly been a joy to put together this publication each month.

Yet the times are changing, and it is time to announce a change to this publication. This will be the last printed issue of Abundant Life. The elders have decided that with rising mailing and printing costs, and the increasing use of the Internet that it is time to make Abundant Life an online publication available at www.justChristians.com each month. The Internet provides us with incredible flexibility (such as allowing for much longer articles), reaches many more people, and is simply much more cost effective. Abundant Life is going online!

We realize that some folks do not have access to the Internet yet. Hopefully you will find a public library or an open Christian home where you can read it online. Perhaps you can find a non-Christian who will let you access the Internet and thus introduce a non-Christian to Abundant Life and Westside’s other marvelous study resources contained on our website!

Our plans at this time are for the new issue of Abundant Life to be posted to the website by the second Sunday of the month. Keep your browser pointed over that way - there will be a new issue up soon. Finally, thanks again to all who were so generous with your encouragement of Abundant Life. It meant a great deal to us, and helped keep us going. We hope the online version will be just as valuable to you, as you study your Bible and seek to serve our Lord.Abundant Life
